Midterms Week

So this past week has been crazy with studying. I have an oral exam for Italian and Business Law exam Tuesday, an art history of rome exam Wednesday, and a major Italian mid term Thursday. Not to mention we leave for Greece on Saturday, so the entire household is either not eating, on a detox, or running their butts off every day. I'm doing a little bit of all of it. But the food is just so good here its hard not to eat! I've been obsessed with artichokes and I've had spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and artichokes sauteed with olive oil and garlic powder plus chicken or pasta for the past five nights... its just so good I can't get enough of it. So Friday I walked around Rome with Joe and Laird and then was so exhausted from 6 hours of that I passed out on friday night at 10 to the dismay of a lot of people wanting me to come out and party. I slept until 2 on Saturday (meaning I definitely needed the sleep) then I ran from our apartment to Argentina, a central location, which was about a 3.5 mile run. It was great except I tripped and fell on a grate in front of Oviesse, a department store) and ripped my knee apart. So that really stunk and is not going to look pleasant in Greece. Saturday night I made dinner for Joe and Laird (yes the same dinner I ate five nights in a row, and yes they loved it too) and then we went to Drunken Ship and Bloom, then my friend Darcey and I broke off and went to Mood to see some of our friends. It was a lot of fun and it was a kind of early night too which helped me Sunday when I had to study my butt off for all my exams. So I am so excited for Greece and I keep looking at the pictures from when I went with Mom and Dad and Jessie. They say it won't be swimming weather, and maybe not bathing suit weather, BUT I AM TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT. We're going to go sea kayaking and maybe cliff diving! I am so excited. So the next time I post a blog, I will be DONE with midterms and back from my vacation in Greece! Then its off to Prague April 8th, Munich April 22nd, and Sorrento and Capri May 6th. Then Mom and Dad and Jess come, and I will cry because A) I miss them B) i never want to leave my friends here C) I never want to leave Rome. I have a feeling I'm going to cry the whole 8 hour plane ride, but we'll see. Hope everyone's good in the States! Miss yall!
